From the recording this and other worlds
Written for three distinct synthesized string sections, flute, and Bandoneon. It combines acoustic instrumental and obviously synthesized sounds.
This is a neo-tango strongly influenced by the father of modern tango music, Astor Piazzolla.
It combines several very traditional melodic and harmonic elements that are almost cliches of the tango genre with pulsating synthesized sounds. There are polyphonic sections of greater complexity suggesting a world and society in which a variety of diverse complex voices strive to be heard simultaneously; the antithesis of a world marching in Fascist lockstep conformity.
This is intended to be music that would be banned in Fascist times.
